VIA to address cryptographic trust and verifiable AI at UN Open Source Week side event

Stan Byers, VIA’s Vice President of Business Development and Transformation, will be featured as a panelist at an official UN Open Source Week side event hosted by the Advanced AI Society and the Polaris Collective at IBM. The panel, titled “Open Source and the Future of Verifiable AI,” will address a vital global imperative: evaluating whether critical AI security infrastructure should be developed via open-source methodologies or proprietary frameworks.

The session will introduce the new, vendor-neutral Proof-of-Control Cryptographic Verification Standard. Following opening remarks by Tricia Wang, CEO of the Advanced AI Society, moderator Julie Tsai will lead a comprehensive analysis with front-line industry leaders. Stan will offer expert insights on the deployment of cryptographic trust to ensure verifiable AI architectures and accountable digital transactions on a global scale.
